JACKIE JESKO is an award-winning director, producer and journalist.

She loves to tell stories about complicated people, places and societies– a mission that has taken her around the world. She’s documented the rise of Hindu nationalism in India, reported from the front lines of battle in Syria, and questioned the boundaries of sexual consent in post-#MeToo America.

Most recently, Jackie directed her first documentary series, Savior Complex, for HBO Films. It is slated to air in Fall 2023.

With roots in Texas and Pennsylvania, Jackie started her career at ABC News, producing investigative stories for Nightline. She then pivoted to longer-form journalism, working on projects for A+E and Nat Geo before landing at Vice, where she worked on the Emmy Award-winning series VICE on HBO. She then worked on Vice’s Showtime and Hulu series, as well as projects for VICE TV.

In 2020, Jackie co-founded Latchkey Films, along with partners Nick Capote and Alex Waterfield. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
